Since its establishment in 2005,leagend has been always focusing on the independent design, technology development and R&D for its own products. We have built several leading product lines and technology solutions such as battery testers, OBD diagnostic tools, thermal imagers, car boosters, battery protectors and battery monitoring solutions under the business philosophy that products origin from the markets while serve the users and technologies serve the products AND must lead the products.

We take the above business philosophy as the core philosophy of leagend’s development and technology development. Until now, the R&D team has been up to 50% of leagend’s staffs and the R&D investment has been about 40% of our whole revenue. Today leagend has been a technology-oriented high-tech company guiding by the markets & users, focusing on technologies and R&D, operating by marketing our own products. We are very proud that we have the highest precision battery testers and the lowest power consumption battery monitors in the industry, and we have been leading the technologies and algorithm for over 20 years.

TO TECHNOLOGY & AESTHETICS

Eric, the founder of leagend, has been fond of delving into stuffs and researching all kinds of principles, since he was a little boy. In his childhood, when there were stuffs like an alarm and a radio appearing in his home, he could not wait to disassemble and study them, then he could make a new radio by himself. With this method, he raised the abilities and ideologies of DIY and researching the unknown world on his own.

On the road of his grown-up, he gradually delved into researching electronic technologies for his thirsty of principles and technologies. Then he enrolled in the department of electronics of Shenzhen University and took wireless as his major because of his great passion for the electronic technology world, so he could immerse himself into the knowledge world of wireless and electronic technologies.

In the process of researching the wireless and electronic technologies, he was enlightened dramatically by the greatness and legends of technology inventors from all over the world. He found that the excellence of a good product is not only because of the appearance of a new technology, but is more because such kind of new technology can accelerate the realization of human kind’s good wishes with its own and unique way. After he graduated from Shenzhen University for several years, he enrolled in the school of design of Central Academy of Fine Arts to start his journey to research aesthetics. During the journey of aesthetics researching, he was deeply inspired by the legend arts created by the worldwide masters from all times, so he enlightened his aesthetics of product, technology and industry up to a next level.

After the enlightenments of these two journeys and thanks to the inspiration from the modern legend characters and achievements, he built the leagend brand.

The brand name “leagend” has one more English letter “a” compared with the English word “legend”, while they sound similar. The English letter “a” is the first letter in the English alphabet, and we would like to take this to honor the inspiration offered by those legend products which combines the electronic technologies and traditional aesthetics to us, we would also like to take this to firmly express our willingness to contribute to the human progresses and defines leagend’s ultimate mission that as those legend characters, leagend dedicates our own efforts to the progresses of the whole world and the whole human kind.
